ERISA Health Benefit Reversal
An employer health plan administrator denied benefits to a participant following a serious dirt bike accident.
Litigated the denial in U.S. District Court, arguing the plan's decision was legally flawed.
Victory in Federal Court. The judge reversed the denial, finding the administrator's decision "arbitrary and capricious," and awarded the client full benefits.
